Path of a Machine

Cheating Death is a middle-aged to older man who refuses death to reach a final goal of invincibility. Using robotics to revive the character as well as give body modifications before the character is awoken once again. The tale of invincibility is given by a tale that is told in a fairy tale that few believe and even less make the journey. As the character continues to die, their capabilities of empathy are replaced by a cold analytical mindset.

The game will be rogue based as the weapons and skill the player obtains will be different after every playthrough. There will be level progression as well as character progression as there are items that can be upgraded in the level but lost with death. While others are more character progression that will pass from one playthrough to the next.

This will be my first release and first level into the game. This will be my introduction to the Unreal engine as well as Paper ZD. With giving myself the time constraint, there are bugs that are needed to be fixed and will be doing shortly. As well as the addition to the store that I will need to be added. If there is a large enough need them I will begin work on a second level as well as a story. All art assets are from itch.io so please do give them attention.
